The export of grain of the new harvest exceeded 1 million tons
From the beginning of the 2022/23 fiscal year (July 1, 2022), as of July 25, Ukraine exported 1.082 million tons of grain and pulses crops. This is written by Kurkul.com, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
Thus, exports as of the reporting date are 40% lower than last year — 1.787 million tons.
In terms of crops, the following were exported since the beginning of the season:
wheat — 222 thousand tons (in 2021/22 MR — 424 thousand tons);
barley — 88 thousand tons (453 thousand tons);
corn — 766 thousand tons (895 thousand tons);
rye — 0 thousand tons (4.7 thousand tons).
