The buyer in Lebanon refused the Ukrainian grain from the Razoni vessel

The buyer of Ukrainian grain in Lebanon refused to accept the cargo due to a delay in delivery. This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Lebanon on Facebook.
“According to the information of the consignor of Ukrainian grain on board “Razoni”, the buyer in Lebanon refused to accept the cargo due to the delay in delivery (more than 5 months). So the shipper is now looking for another consignee to unload his cargo in Lebanon/Tripoli or any other country/port,” the embassy said.
As reported, on August 1, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, a ship with Ukrainian food left the Odesa port. More than 26,000 tons of corn are on board. The Razoni, under the flag of Sierra Leone, is bound for the port of Tripoli, Lebanon. The arrival of the dry cargo at the port of Tripoli was scheduled for August 7.
