Thailand purchases 65 thsd tons of Argentine feed wheat
A group of animal feed importers in Thailand purchased around 65,000 metric tons of feed wheat this week in a private deal without holding an international tender. The information was reported on December 19 by European traders, according to Reuters.
The wheat is expected to be shipped in January 2026, while the price of the deal has not been disclosed. The cargo is believed to originate from Argentina, which is currently regarded as the world’s cheapest source of high-volume wheat supplies.
