Sunseed and soybean harvests have started in Ukraine

As of August 22, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 27.25 mln tons of early grains and pulses from 6.70 mln ha, which accounts for 60% of the sown area.
Specifically:

Wheat – 21.01 mln tons from 4.87 mln ha.

Barley – 4.97 mln tons from 1.30 mln ha.

Peas – 0.58 mln tons from 0.26 mln ha.

Other grains and pulses – 0.69 mln tons from 0.26 mln ha.
Regional leaders include:

Odesa region – 3.44 mln tons from 1.08 mln ha.

Vinnytsia region – 2.39 mln tons from 0.42 mln ha.

Kirovohrad region – 2.20 mln tons from 0.53 mln ha.
Additionally, 3.16 mln tons of rapeseed have already been harvested from 1.28 mln ha. Harvesting of sunseed has started in Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions, while soybean harvesting has begun in Kharkiv region.
