Sunflower oil exports from the EU fell by 16%
From the beginning of the current season (July 1, 2024) to October 22, EU countries exported 210.5 thousand tons of sunflower oil, which is 16% less than for the same period last season.
The largest buyers of sunflower oil from the EU in the current season were India (52.8 thousand tons), Great Britain (42.3 thousand tons), USA (14.9 thousand tons) and South Africa (12.6 thousand tons).
Imports of sunflower oil to the EU during the period under review decreased to 588.8 thousand tons, down 18% compared to last season.
