Soybeans open down 6¢. Friday, January 27, 2023
Grains are in the red this morning, with corn down a penny and soybeans down 6¢.
CBOT wheat is down 3¢. KC wheat is down 7¢. Minneapolis wheat is down 4¢.
Bob Linneman with Kluis Commodity Advisors says reports from Ukraine indicate grain production is going to be lower than what was expected even a month ago. He says there is also renewed concern over winter wheat in the U.S.
Live cattle are down 28¢. Lean hogs are down 68¢. Feeder cattle are up 18¢.
Crude oil is up 76¢ this morning.
S&P 500 futures are up 4 points. Dow futures are up 82 points.
