Soybean oil exports from Ukraine hit a new high
Soybean oil exports in September–October 2019/20 reached a record 52 KMT (+41.7% from last year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
The EU remains the biggest importer with a market share of 65%. The volume of purchases gained 78%, to 34 KMT against 19.1 KMT a year earlier.
The number of importing countries fell to 14 against 38 in MY 2018/19.
Increased exports occurred to the following markets: Poland (+75.7%), China (+166%), India (+47%).
A slowdown in exports was registered to Algeria (-68%).
