Soybean meal exports from Brazil exceed last year’s figures
Data published by Brazil’s Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) show that Brazilian soybean meal exports in the first half of May 2026 exceeded the volume recorded in the same period last year.
Brazil, a key global soybean meal exporter, increased its export volume to 1.381 million tonnes in the first half of May 2026, accounting for nearly 60% of its total export volume for all of May 2025 (2.33 million tonnes).
This export rate significantly exceeds the same period last year, reflecting stronger international demand for soybean meal and providing some support for spot market prices.
