Combined soybean crush in the US, Brazil and Argentina reached a record 176.7 mln tons in 2025/26, compared with 167.9 mln tons a season earlier, according to Oil World analysts.

The largest crush volume was recorded in the US at around 72.1 mln tons, up from 66.55 mln tons in the previous season. In Brazil, soybean crush increased to 61.76 mln tons from 58.16 mln tons a year earlier.

In Argentina, soybean crush edged down to 42.88 mln tons from 43.19 mln tons in 2024/25. As a result, the overall increase was driven mainly by the US and Brazil.

The expansion has been supported by steady demand for soybean oil and meal, as well as favorable crushing margins. Combined soybean processing in the three countries has now increased for a third consecutive season.

For comparison, the US, Brazil and Argentina together processed around 144.5 mln tons of soybeans in 2022/23. Over three seasons, crush volumes increased by more than 32 mln tons, highlighting a substantial expansion in processing capacity and demand for soybean products.
