Sowing in Ukraine is almost complete

As of November 25, Ukrainian farmers had sown 6.43 mln ha of winter crops. This is 98.1% of the projected area.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 4,692.8 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 586.1 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 66.3 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops sowing are Chernivtsi and Cherkasy regions.
Grain sowing has already been completed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne and Chernihiv regions.
Agricultural producers in all regions have actually completed the sowing of winter rapeseed. 1.08 mln ha have been sown – this is 96.5% of the projected area.
