South Korea’s MFG purchases 120 thsd tons of soybean meal in tender
On January 9, South Korea’s Major Feedmill Group (MFG) acquired approximately 120,000 tons of soybean meal at an international tender, likely originating from the U.S., China, or South American countries, according to market operators. The purchase was made in two lots of 60,000 tons each from the operator COFCO.
The first lot, scheduled for delivery by April 25, 2026, was contracted at $376.91 per ton C&F, while the second lot, with delivery by May 15, 2026, was purchased at $373.71 per ton C&F, including a surcharge for additional unloading at the port.
