South Korea’s FLC purchases about 132 thsd tons of corn
The Feed Leaders Committee of South Korea (FLC) purchased 132,000 metric?tons animal?feed?corn?from optional origins on?Thursday, European traders reported.
A consignment of 65,000 tons of goods was reported to have been purchased from the trading house Sucden for an estimated price of $268.30 per ton, including freight and cost.
The second consignment of 67,000 tons was purchased from the trading house Mitsui. 47,000 tons were bought at a price estimated to be $267.89 per ton c&f, and the remainder?at an additional 215.50 U.S. Cents per bushel over Chicago May corn futures.
It was thought that the?corn would arrive in South Korea in September.
The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and further estimates on volumes and prices are possible in the future.
