South Korea stockpiles feed corn
On Friday, February 27, South Korea purchased 133,000 tonnes of feed corn, Reuters reports.
KFA purchased 65,000 tonnes of feed corn in a private deal from Pan Ocean. The purchase price was $251.05 C&F plus a second-port unloading premium of $1 per tonne. The corn is scheduled to arrive in South Korea by July 30, 2026. If loaded from ports on the US Northwest Coast, the loading period is June 11 – July 10.
MFG purchased 68,000 tonnes of feed corn in a private deal from CHS. The purchase price was $250 C&F plus a second-port unloading premium of $1.50 per tonne. The corn will arrive in South Korea by July 15, 2026. If shipped from ports on the US Northwest Coast, the shipment dates are June 6-25.
Earlier on Thursday, MFG purchased 135,000 tons of feed corn at $251 C&F for delivery in July.
