South Korea purchased 75 thsd tons of corn
On November 12, South Korean animal feed manufacturer Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI) purchased 75,000 tons of feed corn at a tender, according to Reuters.
The winners of the tender were:
- Agrocorp, which will supply 60,000 tons of corn at $265.50 per ton, plus $1.30 per ton if delivered to two ports;
- Lotte – 15,000 tons at $255.90 per ton.
Shipments are scheduled from January 8 to 27 from ports in Australia, Canada, and the Northwest Coast of the United States; from December 19 to January 7 from ports in the Gulf of Mexico; from December 24 to December 12 from ports in Europe; and from December 14 to February 2 from ports in South America.
The purchased grain will arrive in South Korea by February 15, 2026.
