South Korea purchased 65,000 tons of feed corn
The South Korean KFA Association purchased 65,000 tons of feed corn in a private deal from Columbia Grain International, according to Zerno On-Line, citing European traders. The purchase price was $248.90 on a C&F basis, plus a $1 per ton surcharge for unloading at a second port.
The corn will arrive in South Korea by March 30, 2026. Shipments will occur between February 19 and March 10 from ports on the US Northwest Coast. If the corn is shipped from ports in the Gulf of Mexico or South Africa, the volume will be reduced to 55,000 tons.
