South Korea purchased 60 thsd tons of feed wheat
Today, November 6, the South Korean company Feed Leaders’ Committee (FLC) purchased 60,000 tons of feed wheat through a tender, Reuters reported.
The winning bidder was Agrocorp, a trading house. The wheat was purchased at $263 per tonne C&F plus a $1.25 per tonne surcharge for unloading at a second port.
The purchased grain will be delivered to South Korea on or about March 10, 2026. According to the tender terms, the wheat can be shipped from any country except Russia, Argentina, China, Pakistan, and Denmark.
Shipping is scheduled from January 19 to February 18 from ports in Australia, the US Pacific Northwest, and Canada’s West Coast; from December 30 to January 29 from ports in the Gulf of Mexico and Europe; and from December 25 to January 24 from ports in South America.
