South Korea purchased 50 thsd tons of wheat

South Korean company Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased 50,000 tons of US wheat from Bunge at a tender, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
Purchased:
- 18,980 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of 9.5-11% at $226.33 per tonne FOB
- 10,280 tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with a protein content of 11.5% at $231.02 per tonne FOB
- 20,740 tons of dark northern spring wheat (DNS) with a protein content of 14% at $254.8 per tonne FOB
Canadian wheat was offered at higher prices in the tender – starting at $255.63 per tonne FOB for CWRS red wheat with delivery from January 1 to January 15, 2026.
Under the tender terms, shipment will take place from December 15, 2025 to January 15, 2026.
