South Korea purchased 20.8 thsd tons of milling wheat
Today, December 17, a group of South Korean millers purchased 20,800 tons of U.S. milling wheat at auction, Reuters reported.
The wheat was purchased from United Grain Corporation on a FOB basis:
- 8,000 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of 9.5-11% at $234 per ton;
- 1,800 tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with a protein content of 11.5% at $244 per ton;
- 11,000 tons of dark northern spring wheat (DNS) with a protein content of 14% at $272 per ton.
According to the tender terms, shipment will take place from April 1 to April 30, 2026.
