South Korea purchased 130 thsd tons of feed wheat
Two South Korean companies purchased 130,000 tonnes of feed wheat in private deals, Reuters reports.
The Feed Leaders’ Committee (FLC) purchased 55,000 tonnes of wheat from Cofco Corporation at $290.99 per tonne C&F plus a second-port unloading premium of $1.75 per tonne.
Major Feedmill Group (MFG) purchased 65,000 tonnes of wheat from Cofco Corporation at $289.75 per tonne C&F plus a second-port unloading premium of $1.50 per tonne.
Under the terms of the deals, the wheat can be of any origin except China, Pakistan, Argentina, Denmark, and Russia, and Russian and Ukrainian ports cannot be used for shipping wheat of any origin. Some traders believe the wheat will be shipped from Black Sea countries.
