South Korea purchased 100 thousand tons of milling wheat
A group of South Korean millers purchased 100,000 tons of milling wheat from the US and Canada at a tender, Reuters reported.
CHS purchased 50,000 tons of wheat from the US for delivery September 15-30 on a FOB basis:
- 25,460 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of 9.5-11% at a price of $252.97 per ton;
- 10,310 tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with a protein content of 11.5% at a price of $293.66 per ton;
- 14,230 tons of dark northern spring wheat (DNS) with a protein content of 14% at a price of $301.56 per ton.
Paterson purchased 50,000 tons of Canadian red wheat CWRS for delivery September 19-October 15 on a FOB basis at a price of approximately $295 per ton.
