South Korea continues to buy feed corn

On May 6, South Korean association KFA purchased 65 thousand tons of feed corn in a private deal from Dreyfus, the Zerno On-Line agency reported, citing European traders. The purchase price was $247.99 C&F plus a surcharge for unloading at the second port of $1.25 per ton. Corn will arrive in South Korea by August 20, 2025.
Another South Korean feed producer, Major Feedmill Group (MFG), has also contracted feed corn for delivery on August 5-20 from the following companies:
- Mitsui – 65,000 tons at $243.3 per ton
- CHS – 65,000–70,000 tons at $248.4 per ton
- ADM – 66,000 tons at $242.97 per ton
- Bunge – 66,000 tons at $243.3 per ton
The premium for unloading at the second port is $1.25 per ton.
