Share of raw materials in Ukraine’s agricultural exports decreased to 52%

Ukrainian exporters increased the share of processed agricultural products in 2025, while the volume of raw material supplies to foreign markets decreased.

This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.

Thus, last year, Ukraine exported $11.77 billion in raw materials, and $10.77 billion in processed products, which is 52.2% and 47.8%, respectively. For comparison, in 2024 this ratio was 60% to 40%.

According to the Ministry of Economy, in 2025, processed products in total agricultural exports reached the highest share in the last 4 years.

The ranking of agro-industrial sectors with the largest share of processed products in exports looks like this:

  • milk and its processed products – 95.2%;
  • grain and oilseed seeds and processed products – 87.5%;
  • fruits and berries and processed products — 52.5%;
  • vegetables and processed products — 37.5%;
  • pulses and processed products — 30.5%;
  • meat and processed products — 12.3%;
  • cereals and processed products — 8.9%.
