Such calculations are provided in the commentary to AgroPortal.ua by the Institute of Agrarian Economics.
According to Oleksandr Zakharchuk, Head of the Investment and Logistics Department of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the main countries where most seeds are purchased are France, the USA, Germany, Canada, Turkey, Spain, Romania, and Hungary.
At the same time, France, the US, and Germany are countries with highly developed breeding and seed potential, while Hungary, Romania, and Turkey have seed production plants owned by large multinational companies.
