Russia’s Ag Ministry backing “transparent pricing” of sunflower seed
The Ag Ministry of Russia is proposing a new mechanism to regulate export of oilseeds that will encourage their “transparent pricing” in the domestic market. The company’s participation in exchange trades must become a mandatory requirement for obtaining oilseed export permit, UkrAgroConsult reports.
At the same time, it is proposed to admit to such trades not only exporters but also crushers of these crops. In conditions of equal competition for the feedstock, they will be able to form reference prices for the entire market.
