Russian missile hits silo in Ochakiv: thousands of tonnes of grain destroyed
In Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, a silo storing thousands of tonnes of Ukrainian grain was destroyed in the Russian missile attack.
That’s according to Oleksiy Vaskov, Deputy Mayor of Ochakiv, Ukrinform reports.
“In Ochakiv, this wasn’t a good morning today. A silo has been destroyed, along with thousands tonnes of grain,” Vaskov wrote.
Also, according to the official, dozens of buildings were hit. Local utility workers are working to clear the rubble.
No victims have been reported so far.
As reported earlier, at about 4:20 on the morning of Sunday, September 4, Russian forces delivered a strike on the town of Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region.
