Russia strikes port infrastructure in Odesa region with Kalibr, damages cargo terminal
On the night of July 27, the enemy launched a missile attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa region. This was reported by the press center of the Southern Operational Command.
As noted, the Kalibr missiles were fired from a submarine in the Black Sea at a critically low altitude, which made it difficult to detect.
“A civilian employee was killed by a hit to one of the port’s administrative buildings. Production equipment of one of the cargo terminals was damaged,” the statement said.
“At night, the terrorist country launched a missile attack on Odesa region. The aggressor targeted the port infrastructure. The Russians fired the Kalibr missiles from a submarine in the Black Sea. A civilian security guard born in 1979 was killed as a result of the hit. The equipment of one of the cargo terminals, the security building and two cars were damaged,” Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said in a telegram channel.
On the night of July 24, the port infrastructure of the Danube River was in the enemy’s sights. For four hours, Russians attacked the ports with Shahed-136 drones. Three drones were destroyed by our air defense forces.
As reported, a missile strike on Odesa on the night of July 23 killed 1 person and injured 22, including 4 children. According to the OK “Pivden”, the Russians hit the port infrastructure of Odesa, and civilian objects were damaged due to missile error. The mayor’s office clarified that more than 40 buildings in the city were damaged as a result of the barbaric nighttime shelling of Odesa.
