Russia. Plantings for 2022 to exceed 81 Ml ha
The Ag Ministry of Russia forecasts another expansion of plantings. The planted area for the 2022 harvest is expected to increase to 81.2 Ml ha from 79.9 Ml ha in 2021.
Further production growth in 2022 will be pushed by an increase in plantings of crops such as spring grains, sugar beet, buckwheat, soya and potato, UkrAgroConsult reports.
