Russia. New marketing year started with a drop in sunflower oil exports

Russian sunflower oil exports in September 2021/22 hit a six-year low at 98.4 KMT (-8% y-o-y).
In MY 2021/22, sunflower oil exports outside the EAEU are subject to a floating tax, which is expected not to adversely affect the realization of export potential, UkrAgroConsult reports.
A rise in exports was registered to the following markets: Turkey (-206%), Azerbaijan (-110%) and Belarus (+28%).
A slowdown in exports was observed to countries such as: China (-98%), Lebanon (-50%) and Egypt (+26%).
