Russia increased sunflower oil shipments through ports
34.7 KMT of sunflower oil was handled through Russian seaports on August 19-25, or 2.3 times more than the week before.
The port of Taman shipped a large cargo of sunflower oil (19.3 KMT) to India. Astrakhan shipped 10.4 KMT of the commodity to Iran, and 5 KMT left the port of Yeysk for Turkey.
Following reconstruction, vegoil handling capacities of the port of Taman increased three times, and direct sunoil shipments to India were started, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The first 20 KMT of sunflower oil was shipped from Taman to India in July.
