Russia. A terminal for supplying grains to China will be built in Transbaikal region

An investment project for the construction of a railway terminal has been signed in Russia. The terminal will transfer grains from Russian railcars to Chinese ones. It is planned to be built in the settlement of Zabaykalsk, Transbaikal region.
According to the project, the construction will start in early 2020. The new railway terminal is purposed to increase grain handling to 8 MMT. Reportedly, the terminal will solve the problem of exporting Siberian grains to China, reports UkrAgroConsult.
