Russia. A record cargo of sunflower oil shipped from Novorossiysk
A sunflower oil cargo of 26.6 KMT was for the first time loaded to a tanker at a terminal of LLC IPP, which belongs to “Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port” Group. A total 248 KMT of sunoil was shipped through the terminal during eight months this year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Sunoil handling capacity of LLC IPP’s terminal currently equals 0.6-0.7 MMT a year. If the market needs increase, its handling capacity may rise to 1-1.5 MMT next year. Further growth in this indicator is possible in the future.
Construction and installation works are now underway at the production unit of LLC IPP in order to set up vegoil reception from trucks. Moreover, it is planned to get additional tanks into the technological process.
