Romanian wheat jumps USD 30/mt w/w
This past week (July 17–24) grain prices continued its rally in the EU ports as well as in the port of Constanta, following also sharp gains of Matif quotations. Information on export restrictions in the port of Novorossiysk triggered a new wave of price rises this past week.
Over the week the price of Romanian milling wheat rose by almost USD 30/mt to USD 273/mt, which is a 3-year maximum for the country.
