Romania to seal transport with agricultural products from Ukraine
Starting April 24, Romania will start sealing vehicles transporting agricultural products from Ukraine in transit.
The Romanian customs authorities will install seals on trucks with Ukrainian agricultural goods. Ukrtransbezpeka urged carriers transiting through Romania to prepare the truck for sealing and only then arrive at the border.
As a reminder, the ministers of agriculture of Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary wrote a letter to the European Commission proposing to expand the list of products from Ukraine that are banned from import.
Starting April 19, Romania established customs controls for all agricultural products coming from Ukraine.
Further logistics developments in the Black Sea region and globally will be discussed by UkrAgroConsult analysts and leading agribusiness operators at the international agro event EURO GRAIN HUB Exchange & Forum on April 26-28 in Bucharest, Romania. Join the key stakeholders from the Black Sea region, Central & Eastern Europe and Balkans, contributing to the global commodity supply chain.
