In 2025/26 European Commission expects decrease in rapeseed imports to the EU, thanks to higher local production, particularly in Romania. The country received record RPS crop in 2025, which is sharply above the 5-year average.
Thus, rapeseed exports from Romania is record, particularly due to the higher EU demand for rapeseed oil.
By contrast, crop estimates for Romanian SFS production saw further decreases. DAP and FOB Constanta prices are steadily growing, fueled by the ongoing high export pace to the extra-EU destinations.
