Romania has installed an anti-drone system on the border with Ukraine
Romania is ready to counter Russian drones on the border with Ukraine. This is reported by Digi24.
“The system of countering drones is ‘in place’, as they say, it works. We already have equipment to counter drones,” said Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
Now the whole system is being improved, which will prevent Russian drones from falling debris.
Radars of the system are able to detect targets at a much lower altitude than before – almost to the ground.
Recall, in Romania has completed the investigation into the fall of the wreckage of Russian drones on Romanian territory. They said that the drones were hit by Ukrainian air defenses during attacks on the port of Izmail, and their wreckage fell accidentally on Romanian territory.
