Ristone Holdings finalized spring sowing campaign
Ristone Holdings branches finalized the spring and industrial crops sowing campaign. More than 6 thou. ha of corn for grain and silage, and about 30 thou. ha of sunflower were sown in the company's fields. In addition, planned areas of sunflower hybrid lines by Euralis company (France) were sown.
"The sowing was completed ahead of schedule due to this year's weather conditions. The application of soil and other herbicides is on schedule," the company said in a statement.
As of May 7, early spring grain, leguminous and industrial crops in Ukraine were sown on an area of 13.34 mln ha or 86% of the planned 15.56 mln ha. Spring wheat, barley, oats, peas and sugar beet campaigns are complete.
