Rice imports to Ukraine increased in tonnage and decreased in monetary terms over 9 months
In January-September 2025, Ukraine imported 77,806 tons of rice worth 49,331 thousand US dollars, according to the State Customs Service.
For comparison, in the same period in 2024, 64,985 tons of rice worth 49,345 thousand US dollars were imported.
Thus, in 2025, there was a significant increase in the volume of rice imports (+12,821 tons), while the value of imports decreased slightly (-14 thousand dollars), which may indicate a change in pricing policy or supplier structure.
