Efforts to restore Ukraine’s export logistics following the disruption of operations at the country’s Black Sea ports are under the direct supervision of the President and the Prime Minister, according to Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.

Hetmantsev said work on resolving the logistics bottlenecks is ongoing, although he could not disclose further details. He estimated that the situation could stabilize within two to four weeks.

The lawmaker noted that many farmers have contacted him after grain prices fell sharply due to export logistics disruptions. He believes current grain prices are artificially depressed by the temporary logistical constraints.

“If possible, do not sell your grain at artificially low prices. Wait for the market to stabilize,” Hetmantsev advised Ukrainian farmers.
