Record-breaking wheat exports from Kazakhstan

November wheat exports from Kazakhstan totaled almost 585 KMT (+1% from October, +21% from November 2019/20). 1.68 MMT had been exported since the season’s beginning (+37% y-o-y). This is the highest since MY 2006/07, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Shipments to Uzbekistan exceeded 1 MMT, though its share keeps shrinking – from 62% to 59% over the month.
Among the five biggest importers, only China reduced purchases from the same time last year, by 37%. Other buyers increased imports: Uzbekistan (+74% y-o-y), Tajikistan (+11%), Afghanistan (+45%).
