Rains will pass in the main grain-growing regions in the near future, but moisture shortages will persist in some areas

The amount of precipitation in June in the EU, the USA, and the Black Sea countries will be the main factor in the formation of a good harvest, so the weather will significantly affect speculative price movements in the near future.
The U.S. received light rain this week, which improved the condition of spring crops, although it delayed the winter wheat harvest. Next week, the Midwest and Plains are expected to heat up to 32-34 ° C, but showers will pass by late in the week, favorable for soybean and corn crops.
Canada’s prairies have seen rain this week, with more expected by the weekend. The region started the month dry, but low temperatures have kept crops from getting too stressed. Additional rainfall is expected next week in canola and spring wheat growing areas, prompting analysts to raise their canola production forecasts.
In southern Brazil , rains are moving to the central regions, improving the condition of winter wheat and second-crop corn crops, which have already been harvested on 10% of the area. The precipitation is delaying the corn harvest in the south, but is having a positive impact on the crops.
Europe has been experiencing dry and hot weather this week, which is helping winter crops ripen and start harvesting, but could be detrimental to late-season crops. Scattered showers are expected next week, but there is a risk of damage to maize crops in some dry areas in the northwest.
The Black Sea region has seen cool weather with occasional showers this week, which has helped ripen and fill winter wheat and rapeseed. However, rainfall is insufficient and corn crops need more moisture, especially in the second half of June.
In Ukraine, moderate temperatures of 22-26 ° C are expected in the coming days with periodic precipitation, which will improve the condition of crops. However, in some regions, a moisture deficit persists.
In the Krasnodar and Rostov regions of the Russian Federation, rains also fell, which reduced the heat and improved the condition of crops. Some crops were damaged, but the harvest is predicted to be higher than last year, thanks to the increase in the sown area.
In Australia, winter wheat and canola crops need more moisture. More rainfall is forecast in the west over the next 10 days, but little rain will fall in the southeast.
Long-awaited rainfall has arrived in central China , which will improve soybean and corn crops but delay the winter wheat harvest. In the northeast, soybean and corn crops are in much better condition thanks to favorable temperatures and soil moisture.
