A very good corn harvest is expected in Kazakhstan
Kazhydromet has forecast the grain corn yield. According to the data, the main producing regions are expected to have an above-average yield.
According to the latest analytical calculations and taking into account the current and expected agroclimatic situation, the projected level of grain corn yield in 2025 is as follows:
Almaty region and Zhetysu region – the indicators will exceed the long-term average.
Zhambyl region – an increase in indicators is expected relative to the average long-term values, however, in the Merken and Zhambyl districts, average yield levels are expected.
Turkestan region – the yield will mostly exceed the average statistical indicator, with the exception of the Makhtaaral region, where it is also planned to reach a level close to the average of previous years.
