Pork exports from Spain declined

Spanish exports of pork products in the first quarter of 2024 are down 11% compared to the same period last year.
In the first quarter of 2024, Spanish exports of pork products totaled 339,495 tons, 11% less than in the same period of 2023, when Spain exported 382,191 tons.
China remains the main destination, but exports to this country suffered the largest decrease (-20%). Exports to South Korea (-17%), Japan (-9%) and the UK (-1%) also decreased, while exports to the Philippines increased (+9%).
