Polish farmers have completely unblocked Shehyni

Polish farmers have stopped blocking truck traffic at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. As of March 21, 4 directions of the border with Poland remain blocked. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel Andriy Demchenko.
“Ukrainian border guards received information about this around 21:30 the day before from representatives of the Polish Border Guard. They stated that Polish farmers had completed blocking the movement of trucks entering and leaving Poland. Therefore, the clearance of this category of transport has begun to be carried out in the usual manner,” he said.
According to Demchenko, as of this morning, 4 directions remain blocked for truck traffic: “Yagodyn, Ustyluh, Uhryniv and Rava-Ruska.
Polish farmers allow different numbers of trucks to pass through these checkpoints in both directions, but, for example, trucks from Ukraine to Poland are still not allowed through the Rava-Ruska and Yahodyn checkpoints. In addition, in the direction of the Yahodyn checkpoint, the protesters allow a very small number of trucks traveling to Ukraine, the SBGS spokesman said. Over the past day, there were only 50 such trucks, which is a critically low figure for this direction, he added.
