Pea yield in Ukraine is 0.26 t/ha lower than last year

Ukrainian agrarians have harvested 416.3 thsd tons of peas at a yield of 2.19 t/ha, which is 0.26 t/ha less than last year (2.45 t/ha).
This is reported by AgroTimes with reference to the State Statistics Service and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
The leading regions are in the lead in terms of pea yield:
- Volyn region – 3.0 t/ha;
- Rivne region – 2.73 t/ha;
- Ternopil region – 2.7 t/ha;
- Poltava region – 2.64 t/ha;
- Vinnytsia region – 2.62 t/ha.
Most of this crop was harvested:
- Odesa region – 133.2 thsd tons;
- Mykolaiv region – 71.4 thsd tons;
- Kirovograd region – 37.2 thsd tons.
Last year, the gross harvest of peas amounted to 3.684 mln tons, and the area under crops was 150 thsd hectares.
