Over 130 Ukrainian companies have received the right to export barley to China
The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has formed a List of persons planning to export barley to the PRC and a List of storage locations from which grain is planned to be exported.
It is noted that this was done in compliance with the requirements of the Protocols of phytosanitary and inspection measures for the export of barley from Ukraine to China, concluded between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC.
“The lists are published on the official web portal of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section “Phytosanitary, control in the field of seed and nursery production” – “Phytosanitary requirements of countries” – “Phytosanitary requirements of the People’s Republic of China” by link,” the message specifies.
The State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine calls on all interested parties to carefully familiarize themselves with the lists. If any discrepancies or errors are found, it is necessary to report this to the Department of Phytosanitary Safety and Control in Plant Growing of the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine by September 3 of this year.
“This will allow timely corrections to be made and ensure unhindered export of barley in accordance with international requirements,” the message emphasizes.
According to the list, 132 business entities in Ukraine have received the right to export barley to China.
