Only 38% of corn crops in France are in good or excellent condition
The condition of corn crops in France continues to deteriorate. By July 20, the share of corn crops in good and excellent condition had fallen to 38% (40% the week before and 69% on the same date last year), according to the state agency FranceAgriMer.
Corn crop development is one week ahead of the five-year average. Corn harvesting will begin in August. The wheat and barley harvests have already been completed.
