On February 1, 5 ships with cereals left Ukrainian ports
On Wednesday, five dry cargoes with corn, wheat and soybeans left the ports of Ukraine as part of the “Grain Initiative”. This is reported by the Joint Coordination Center.
“On February 1, five ships left Ukrainian ports, they are transporting a total of 216,719 tons of grain and other food as part of the Black Sea grain initiative,” the message reads.
The ship Manna (51,405 tons of corn) is heading to Portugal, the ship Donna Judi (33,000 tons of wheat) is heading to Spain. Dry cargo Barra left for Turkey with 41 thousand tons of wheat.
In addition, The Ruler will deliver 65,114 tons of corn to China. The Lolo Gate vessel will transport 16,500 tons of wheat and 9,700 tons of soybeans to Egypt.
Four dry cargo vehicles are also heading to Ukrainian ports, which passed through the maritime humanitarian corridor on Wednesday.
The JCC reported that “87 applications for participation in the initiative were submitted.”
“As of February 1, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 19,288,350 tons. In total, the movement of 1,390 ships was allowed: 696 for arrival at Ukrainian ports and 694 for departure from them,” – summarized in JCC.
