New rapeseed crop adjusts prices in Ukraine
Rapeseed complex remains the most stable among oilseeds. MATIF stock quotes last week decreased by 4.5€/t (to 508.75€/t) against the backdrop of the approaching new harvest. This is reported by analysts at Spike Brokers.
At the same time, the physical market is reacting more restrained. Rapeseed oil quotes have practically not changed, which indicates that the processing industry is sufficiently supplied with raw materials.
In Ukraine, trade has almost completely focused on the new harvest.
Despite the support of MATIF, export purchase prices have adjusted somewhat due to the start of the harvest and a gradual increase in the supply of new rapeseed. At the beginning of the week, prices for non-GMO rapeseed for processing increased to 597 USD/t (+5 USD/t), while the cost of export rapeseed CPT Odesa increased to 550 USD/t (+8 USD/t).
