New opportunities for the agricultural sector: Ukraine and Austria signed a memorandum

Ukraine and Austria have signed a memorandum on expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector. This opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian producers and contributes to European integration processes. This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval.
The document was signed within the framework of the working visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Vienna.
What the memorandum provides for:
- Trade in products, technologies and other products of plant growing and animal breeding.
- Support for Ukraine in European integration processes.
- Exchange of experience in the field of environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture. Cooperation in the field of science, education, research institutions.
- Promotion of international student exchange in the agricultural sphere.
- Assistance to Ukraine in the fields of animal breeding and reproduction, plant breeding, etc.
The document was signed by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaliy Koval and the Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, Regional Development and Water Resources Management of Austria Norbert Totchnig.
“I am sure that the memorandum is not only about cooperation and economic prospects. It is also about opportunities for Ukrainian manufacturers to open new markets and create joint ventures with Austrian companies,” Koval emphasized.
