Ukrainian seaports almost doubled grain transshipment volumes
According to the results of April 2024, port operators in Ukrainian seaports handled 9 million 912 thousand tons of cargo, which is almost twice as much as in the same period of 2023.
This is reported by the press service of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine.
The largest specific weight in April is the handling of grain cargoes – 6.3 million tons (against 3.9 million tons in 2023).
Cargo turnover through the Ukrainian corridor in April amounted to 7.7 million tons, of which – 5.1 million tons – products of Ukrainian agrarians.
Overall, Ukrainian ports handled 37.7 million tons in January-April 2024 (against 22 million tons in 2023).
